movies
I generally lean towards quirky comedies, cartoons and horror movies. Here are some of my all-time favorites:
  • "A Walk to Remember" (2002)
Mandy Moore is incredible as Jamie Sullivan in this tear-jerking adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel.
  • "Cold Blooded" (1994)
Jason Priestley stars in this black comedy about a once-lowly bet taker who becomes a criminal family's best hitman, falls in love and then tries to go legit for his new love.
  • "Groundhog Day" (1993)
A weatherman from Pittsburgh (Bill Murray) is trapped in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania and has to live Groundhog's Day there over and over again until he lives the day the right way.

  • "Edward Scissorhands" (1990)
A tearjerker/comedy about the eternally unfinished greatest creation of a kind-hearted scientist played by Vincent Price - a childlike man with scissors for hands who finds love in a quirky suburban town. My favorite movie.

  • "Lilo & Stitch" (2002)
Perhaps the last great traditionally animated Disney movie, it's about a mischievous alien who crash lands on Earth and finds a family.

  • "The Jerk" (1979)
Hilarious story following the misadventures of simple-minded Navin Johnson (Steve Martin) as he journeys from his country home for the first time.

Fiona Apple - Tidal

games
I used to play video games all the time when I was a kid - I still play once in a while. Here are just some of my all-time favorite games:

  • Street Fighter Alpha 3
Beat up people with special moves - fun!
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2
Yet another game where you beat up stuff - more fun!
  • Crazy Taxi
As a crazy cabbie, pick up as many fares and drive to their destinations as fast you can!
  • Sonic Adventure
Fast action with the world's most famous hedgehog.
  • Shenmue
One of the most cinematic games ever.
  • Final Fight
Beat bad guys senseless without the hassle of a night in the county jail!
  • Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Marvel Comics characters beat up characters from the video game company Capcom - even more fun!
  • Grim Fandango
Comical adventure game based on the Mexican holiday the Day of the Dead.
  • Seaman
A virtual pet game where the pet is a fish/man hybrid that you actually raise and talk to.
